Today we had the pleasure of hosting the esteemed Banning Eyre, author, musician and photographer, to discuss his book Lion Songs: Thomas Mapfumo and the Music That Made Zimbabwe and played music from an accompanying CD of the same name. Despite the fact that there was more talk than during any (non-fundraising) edition of Groove Time, we’re sure you were edified and entertained by the fascinating Mr. Eyre.
